Employees introduce themselves

from Jürgen Vogl

After working in various federal ministries for 15 years, I moved to Agency for Passenger Rights in April 2015. My job is to mediate between passengers and airlines. As apf, we cooperate very well with the national enforcement bodies in other countries and regularly exchange information with them in order to promote the exchange of know-how. In this context, I also take part in European meetings to represent the views of the apf.

I consider the apf to be an important service organization whose aim is to protect passenger rights by helping passengers to assert their rights. I therefore see it as our task to inform passengers about their rights and to support them in asserting their claims against the airlines. I would love to see even more passengers and travelers using our service in the future so that we can help them assert their rights.

In addition to my work at apf, I also work in corporate communications, where I am particularly interested in writing blog posts.

In my private life, I am very interested in politics as well as human and animal rights. I enjoy reading, crafting and designing. In principle, I am open to all creative activities and enjoy visiting flea markets, festivals, events, workshops and trade fairs of all kinds.
