What information obligations do bus companies and bus station operators have?

Passengers must be informed as soon as possible by the company or, if applicable, by the bus station operator about delays, cancellations and the likely effects .

At the latest, however, 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time.

Information must be provided via the existing information channels. This includes, for example, monitors, ticket counters, notices and, if possible, also electronically.

The legal bases are Art. 20 and 25 of Regulation (EU) No. 181/2011.
