Flight: Sample letters for claims against airlines

Arbitration board helps free of charge and commission-free
For this purpose, Agency for Passenger Rights (apf) has provided sample letters on its website. The sample letters were created on the basis of the EU Passenger Rights Regulation and draw the airline's attention to claims in the following cases:
The sample letters are available in German and English and can be customized by selecting the individual text modules required.
If an airline only accepts complaints online, you can copy the individual text modules and paste them into the online complaint form. If you send your complaint to the airline by post, we recommend that you send the letter by registered mail, as this is the only way to prove that the letter was actually delivered to the company.
If the company does not respond adequately or not at all within six weeks of the claim being submitted, a arbitration request can be submitted to apf online via www.passagier.at.
→ apf's service is always free of charge and commission-free for passengers, regardless of the outcome of the procedure.
