Additional fare demand (penalty payment) for regional bus services

It turned out that due to the passenger's degree of disability (50 percent), no discount should actually have been granted, as the tariff of the Styrian Transport Association only provides for a discount for passengers with disabilities from a degree of disability of 70 percent. As a result, the passenger was charged an additional fare of 95 euros.
The passenger did not pay the 95 euros and, after failing to reach an agreement with the company, turned to the apf. Although the apf is not responsible for such cases in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 181/2011, it was able to mediate between the passenger and the company to ensure that the additional fare claim was waived.
